Baby and a Snake
Some crazy parents in India believe, according to their religion, that it is good luck for a baby to touch a snake or for a snake to touch it. Either way, it's fucking stupid. This video clip freaked me out. It's been around for a couple years but it's the first time I've seen it.

Well now that's just disgusting! Where is that baby's diaper. If it has an accident that blanket is going to be trash.
Sad. So sad.
OMG. What's wrong with these people. Way too weird. I wonder why somebody was laughing at the back!
Whoa, hold everything!!! Is that Michael I see up there? Hot dog, another one has rejoined the fold.
This video is something else. Just listening to that cobra hiss was enough to give me the heebie-geebies.
Everyone knows that a touch from a snake is good luck. Jeeze....
Michael: Gosh, I never thought about that. A very astute observation on your part. LOL
Crazy Brunette: I wish I were kidding you. Just another example of how fucking nuts people are. It's so wrong for so many reasons. Personally, I would like to throw the parents of this baby in a box full of poisonous snakes. They would probably enjoy it, though.
Mr. Stupid: These people are retarded... That's what is wrong with them. In fact, if you belong to any religion that has to do with the touching or handling of dangerous snakes, it may be time for you to get a frontal lobotomy.
Me-Me: Yeah, Michael is back from his long hiatus... and, actually, he's been back for awhile. And it is good to have him in the fold again.
The cobra hiss, cobra striking the baby's head, people laughing... All of it made my jaw drop. The entire time I watched this, I was hoping the baby got out of it alive.
lwr: Whaaaaaaaaaat??? LOL.
ps...I'm assuming they defanged the frickin thing. but they're still stupid.
One of The Guys: Yeah, unfortunately there are stupid parents all over the world. The more I hear on the news about kids and babies being abused by their own parents, the more I'm convinced that the (in)human race is going downhill fast.
As much as I'm not a huge lover of kids, I would never think of harming one in the least. Just thinking about it makes me sick. I try to take some comfort in knowing that there are loving parents out there who do actually protect their children from harm and honestly care for them. The ones who don't need a bullet in the head. You really can't get any lower than being a child abuser/murderer. Anyway, take care and thanks for commenting.
The Wolf: I'm with ya there, bud. I would go into detail what I would do to them, exactly, but since this is such a wholesome, family type blog...I won't. Er... yeah.
I don't know if everyone in India engages in this kind of activity. I kinda doubt it. I worked with and befriended someone who was from India and I got to know quite a bit about their country and traditions. At least, from his point of view. From how he described most people there, they were pretty intelligent. He never mentioned anything about parents letting their babies get attacked by snakes -so I don't know. It kinda makes me think that not everyone there does that -for luck, religion, superstition or any other dumbass reason. But, like I said, I don't know.
Wow.... I can't even watch this one.... nuh, uh... no way... not me...
Hi, Penny. I understand.
Hi Kelly,
Well I most certainly saw no 'charm' in that frankly, very disturbing video.
What a stupid risk to take with a small child. Or are we missing something? I don't think so.
Take care, friend. With respect, Gary
I agree. No charm to be found in this video. And nope, you're not missing anything. The parents, here, are idiots The only reason I put this clip on the blog was to make a point that there are crazy, cold blooded people everywhere in the world. I usually rant on about the stupid folks here in the U.S. but I thought I'd spread the criticism around this time.
Take care, friend. Sincerely, Kelly
