Victor seems to really like Zoey. I hope he doesn't get fed up with her, like a small child when a new baby sister comes along!

Greetings my human friend, Kelly,
Yes, it's me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star!
What I sense here is a family of love. Victor, Zoey, your beloved wife and your good self. A warm ambience captured in your photos.
Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses, Penny xx

No, they play fight and get along. Eat together and so on. She irritates the shit out of him sometimes but that's to be expected. He's careful not to puncture her skin with claws and teeth. Kind of amazing, too, the way he pins her down... then she'll chase him around, knock stuff over. It's like baby-proofing a house all over again. With as many indoor and outdoor cats that I've had in my 48 years, I could write a book on the subject. hahaha. Take care, Bazza!

Yeah, she's cute as the dickens when she's half-way behaving. When she doesn't behave, she get sprayed with water from our little water bottles.

I'm sure you do miss your Calico, Middle Child. The two Calicos that we had/have now (one died last year) in our lives were loving and playful. I feel for you in your dealings with the new puppy. Our kitten, who I think was weened and given to us a little too young, is into biting, too. when we got her, she about five weeks old but already eating hard cat food. Kitty-proofing the place has been JUST SO MUCH FUN (sarcasm). Lol. Take care, my friend.

Thank you for saying that, Kim. They help keep me at peace, too, and are great at giving their love, unconditionally. Even the wife. LOL. I'm bad. :)

Thank you, Angry Lurker. And I think for the compliment to my wifey, too. Tee hee. :)

Yeah, I've always been wise enough to know what should come first in my life. I thank you, dixie for the kind words and advice. I will continue to do my utmost to let my love be known to all of them in all manner of ways.

Howdy Penny! I was playing "toss the slobbered on tennis ball" to a Pit Bull dog last night at my friends' daughter's house and managed not to get eaten alive. I probably would have, though, if the daughter had wanted her baby to do such a thing. she even said as much. Anyway, we had a good visit and I got to come home with all of my limbs still attached. :)

Yes, we do, indeed, have a family of love. I thank you for noticing the 'ambiance' which is captured, honestly, in these images. Out of the fifty or so pet pics I have on my digital camera, I thought these were the best ones of them all.

Kisses and hugs for you, Penny. Handshake and a pat on the back for your buddy, Gary. Take care!

Lovely kitties. I have 3 myself and they are my world The oldest is 16 :). Congrats on the blog awards from Gary, you fully deserve them :). Kisses.

Cats are cool, aren't they, Unikorna? I'll have to check out your blog to see if you've put up any pics of them. I don't hate dogs or but I've always enjoyed the company of cats more. They're usually more calm- especially as they get older and less "beggy" for attention, in a way. :) Plus, I've been around cats more often than dogs.

Thanks for the congrats on the awards and saying I deserve them. Take care!

Cute cats. They have playmates now. I had two cats very similar to them...both from the same litter of six that my friend found in a cardboard box set under a dumpster outside the building where he worked. They did really well and grew up in various homes of mutual friends. Some people!

Thanks, Gem. I love them, too, even though our little demon kitty tries my patience, at times. :) Hope you are doing well.

Yeah, that was one of the main reasons we took in another cat... so our older (orange haired) cat, victor would have a playmate. He missed our eldest cat, Mufasa, that died over a year ago so I think this little stinker, Zoey, gives him some exercise. :)

You did a good thing taking in those two cats from the dumpster. My family has only had one cat that had a litter of cats, which is kind of amazing- considering how many cats we've collectively had over the years. I completely believe in spading and neutering cats. I see far too many cats, wandering the neighborhood and streets of our neighboring towns, obviously hungry and tore up by other animals. We keep our cats indoors, fixed and with regular visits to the vet, for shots and evaluations. Like you said about "some people"... they don't care when they should care. Animals of every kind are worthy of our love and our care.
