Norman Bates in Psycho
"Hey, don't knock masturbation. It's done with someone I love."
From Annie Hall
"Aristotle was not Belgian. The central message of Buddhism is not 'every man for himself.' And the London Underground is not a political movement. Those are all mistakes, Otto. I looked 'em up."
Wanda (Jamie Lee Curtis) from A Fish Called Wanda
"Wendy?...Darling. Light of my life. I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said: 'I'm not gonna hurt ya.' I'm just gonna bash your brains in. I'm gonna bash 'em right the fuck in! Ha, ha."

Rutget Hauer in Blade Runner
"Greetings, my friends! We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember my friends; future events such as these will affect you in the future. You are interested in the unknown, the mysterious, the unexplainable; that is why you are here. And now for the first time we are bringing to you the full story of what happened on that faithful day. We are giving you all the evidence, based only on the secret testimonies of the miserable souls who survived this terrifying ordeal. The incidents, the places, my friends, we can not keep this a secret any longer; let us punish the guilty, let us reward the innocent. My friends, can your heart stand the shocking facts about the grave robbers from outer space?"
Plan 9 From Outer Space
"There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence."
A Clockwork Orange

Stephen Fry, actor, claims straight women don't really like sex.

Sybok: "I don't control minds. I free them."
From Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier
"There's no earthly way of knowing / Which direction we are going / There's no knowing where we're rowing / Or which way the river's flowing / Is it raining? / Is it snowing? / Is a hurricane a-blowing? / Not a speck of light is showing / So the danger must be growing / Are the fires of hell a-glowing? / Is the grisly reaper mowing? / Yes, the danger must be growing / 'Cause the rowers keep on rowing / And they're certainly not showing / Any signs that they are slowing!"
Willy Wonka From Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory
Pete: What's the devil look like?
Ulysses Everett McGill: Well, Pete, there are all manner of lesser imps and demons, but the great Satan hisself is red and scaly with a bifurcated tail, and he carries a hay fork.
Tommy Johnson: Oh no, sir. He's white, as white as you folks, with empty eyes and a big hollow voice. He likes to travel around with a mean old hound.
From O' Brother, Where Art Thou?
"What do you think you are, for Chrissake, crazy or somethin'? Well you're not! You're not! You're no crazier than the average asshole out walkin' around on the streets and that's it."

Tear down that BITCH of a bearing wall and put a window where it OUGHT to be. <<name the movie :) I will give you a hint...it's my all time favorite and I can't believe it didn't make your list!
The Big Lebowski had so many great quotes.
"I've dabbled in pacifism myself, Dude...not when I was in Nam, of course."
Gorilla Bananas- You hit that nail's head, there, Dude.
Speaking of other great things said in The Big Lebowski....
Bunny Lebowski: I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars.
Brandt: Ah hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited.
Bunny Lebowski: Brandt can't watch, though, or he has to pay a hundred.
Brandt: Ah haha. That's marvelous.
The Dude: Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine.
Donda- Oops... That is a good one, Donda. For some reason, I forgot that line. My mind's been slippin' like it was on a skating rink these days. "Mommy Dearest" was one crazy bitch of a movie! I thought she was worse than a monster.
William Kirwill the American from "Gorky Park" says it all:
Born-again Christians. They don't smoke, they don't swear, they don't fuck! That's my favorite!
Pssh! Joan Crawford is my idol!!
What a brilliant idea for a blog post Kelly! You could start a whole new trend here. This really made me laugh and brought back some memories of some wonderful movie moments.
I love this conversation from Annie Hall:
MAN: It's the influence of television. Now, now Marshall McLuhan deals with it in terms of it being a, a high-- high intensity, you understand? A hot medium--
WOODY ALLEN: What I wouldn't give for a large sock with horse manure in it.
MAN: -- as opposed to the truth which he [sees as the] media or--
WOODY ALLEN: What can you do when you get stuck on a movie line with a guy like this behind you?
MAN: Now, Marshall McLuhan--
WOODY ALLEN: You don't know anything about Marshall McLuhan's work--
MAN: Really? Really? I happen to teach a class at Columbia called TV, Media and Culture, so I think that my insights into Mr. McLuhan, well, have a great deal of validity.
WOODY ALLEN: Oh, do you?
MAN: Yeah.
WOODY ALLEN: Oh, that's funny, because I happen to have Mr. McLuhan right here. Come over here for a second?
MAN: Oh--
WOODY ALLEN: Tell him.
MARSHALL McLUHAN: -- I heard, I heard what you were saying. You, you know nothing of my work. How you ever got to teach a course in anything is totally amazing.
WOODY ALLEN (To camera):Boy, if life were only like this.
I cannot count the number of times that I would have liked to have my own 'McLuhan' to produce whenever neccessary and I always recall that scene.
Bazza’s Blog ‘To Discover Ice’
MarytrMom- That Gorky Park quote is funny because it's too true.
Donda- I believe it! That's what scares me! :)
Bazza- Yeah, after reading that, I would like to have my McLuhan to pop out of nowhere during those times. That's part of the script where everyone should read it. They likely will relate to it.
