I attended a lecture on a particular paranormal subject, at a library, almost a month ago. That tells you about how much time, I've had, lately, to actually blog about something that interests me. Most of the time, I have to deal with things in my life I'd rather not have to deal with- but that's reality for ya. I pepper my reality with brief times of relief on Fartbook... er... Facebook, mostly, because commenting or posting on Facebook takes less time than doing a blog post. To each his or her own. :)
The lecture I went to was about ghost hunting and the woman giving the lecture belonged to an organization that has been around for a number of years and they have done a lot of investigations. She seemed to know what she was talking about. A large group of ordinary people had showed for the lecture and Q & A.
The lecture got me thinking about a lot of things that I experienced in my past.
I believe in ghosts and things that fall under the paranormal heading for a number of reasons. I've talked about those reasons on this blog in the past but to those who are relatively new to this blog that I've been doing since 2007, my reasons, in no particular order are:
1- I've lived in a house that was haunted. The entire family, our friends and even people we didn't know that well, saw and heard many unexplained incidents such as: chairs moving by themselves, laughter coming from our attic when no one was up there, the lights and TV going off and on, whispers of your name next to your ear while attempting to sleep, blood running down the walls, something pulling sheets off of a bed while you are attempting to sleep, black, smoke-like formations rushing past doorways, dolls' heads moving completely around by themselves, running footsteps being heard, coming up from the basement stairs up to the door leading to the hallway (when no one was there) and so on.
Some of this shit, that went on, I think I've purposefully forgotten, to avoid needless trauma.
If you've read this far without thinking me insane, wanting to mock me and everyone else who had to go through the shit we went through or wanting to debate me or point out how one or more things can easily be scientifically explained- then congratulations are in order for you. Kudos! It means you likely have an open mind. Otherwise, if you're here to debate me or do any of the other things I mentioned above, feel free to move on to the next blog about how someone's kid and their latest "hysterical" antic that everyone is dying to know about. Or something equally mundane. I'm not interested and will not respond, as you would probably like, to anything contrary that you have to say. I've heard it before and wasn't impressed. We, meaning the dozens of us who went through the hell of living there or visiting there, know what we went through and tried "scientifically" explaining away everything that happened. Didn't work. End of story.
I might add... and I will...
The only thing more irritating and frustrating to me than an overzealous disbeliever in anything they can't see or explain is an overzealous Christian trying to push their faith down your throat. Giving someone the benefit of a doubt is not the same as being gullible. Either person who displays this type of behavior is showing their arrogance and close mindedness. It's also a sign of someone who NEEDS to feed their ego to tear down one's ideas or beliefs with whatever well written malarkey that they can come up with. Just because it is well written or that person has the last word- it does not make them right.
2- My wife has spoken to the spirit of her deceased grandfather one night, while I was in bed and he gave her details about me that he couldn't have known, because he died three decades before I was even born. I've had several relatives see and talk to dead relatives, whether they were on their deathbeds in homes or hospitals or when they were just standing around, not doing anything in particular. Feelings of peace would usually accompany them while these incidents would happen.
3- I've also had some flashes or images come into my mind, while awake, of things that have happened. Most of those things (images) were of trivial matters. When these images would come into my mind, I would feel like I should remember them. I don't know why that feeling would come over me but it did. A month or two later and the image of the incident in my mind actually became a reality.
The one "picture" that I got in my head was of something that I didn't even know about or what it was and had never seen a picture of it before- until I was older, in school. It came to me when I was around four years old. It was a picture of a nuclear bomb going off. Bright mushroom cloud, everything being caught on fire, vaporized and so on. The whole bit. It was happening, I figured out later in life, in the same direction where a major city, about thirty miles away from where I live now, is located. I'm 48 years old and it is an image in my mind as horrifying and clear as it was when I was four years old.
4- I used to read whole decks of cards. Didn't matter which deck or where it came. They weren't in any order. I didn't cheat by marking any sides or had cards that were bent. I'd simply look at each face down card, say what it was, suit and number, turn it over and it would be what it said I knew it was going to be. Then I'd re-shuffle the cards again, predict the cards, again, correctly and then, one day, I thought to myself, This is too weird and I stopped doing it, altogether.
5- There is another thing I've been involved in, paranormally speaking, but I'm not mentioning it because it would take too long to explain and I'm afraid I'd get a lot of backlash in comments that I'd rather not read because, well, I've heard it all before and sadly, most people are predictable. :) I'm not saying everyone is, but, if you've been around as long as I have, you already know the truth. If you'd really and genuinely like to know what #5 is about, I'll tell you.
These days, I don't have any predictive imagery in my mind. Nor do I attempt to predict cards or attempt transcendental meditation. That last thing I just mentioned resulted in something that freaked me out a bit, not in a bad way, but I'm not going to go into it, either.
The paranormal investigator (one of many ghost hunters, so to speak,) brought all of her equipment, including dowsing rods, an EVP recorder, an EMF meter and a laptop computer showing orbs (spirits) she and others had videotaped during their investigations. Later, she shared information about a tour through a place where people, in a nearby city, had reported experiencing spirits one way or another. She didn't talk about the future tour much, in case you're wondering if she was there to make money off the local town folk. She was there to demonstrate how the instruments worked, how her own personal experience as a child got her interested in the paranormal and answering any questions that people had about ghosts.
She talked quite a bit about how her personal experience with spirits and how it told about and shown on TV, through reenactments. The paranormal investigator was interviewed about the full apparition she saw of a little girl named Nora, sitting on the floor in a room, upstairs at her childhood home.
The woman also was there to investigate someone who had died at the library she was speaking at. According to the dowsing rods and the EMF meter, something was definitely there and it was communicating what had happened when she died. For one thing, she used to work in the same old building a long time ago and she was pregnant at the time. Ever since my sister and her coworkers had been working at the library, they had heard talking, from out of nowhere and had seen things move (on their own?) while being employed at the library. It wasn't a malicious spirit, obviously. It just wanted to be acknowledged.
On her laptop computer, the investigator showed orbs, like I said and turned up the volume of strange, yet clear, disembodied voices.
There was a teenage girl, who worked at the library, who had an experience on a ghost hunting tour, a few months back, who was not associated with the investigator. She told us about how she thought a spirit from the place she toured had come back home with her. She said she could feel "him" touch her arms, at times, and how it felt cold or like being brushed by spider webs. This spirit, she said, had also displayed non-malicious behavior toward her but the investigator advised her that she should explain to the spirit that he was dead and should move on to the other side. Her family, who had also gone on the same tour, also heard voices "from out of nowhere" and felt things.
The other side, what happens after death, call it Heaven or what you will, is also something I happen to believe in for a great many number of personal reasons, NOT religious reasons.
The paranormal investigator seemed pretty genuine to me. I had an open mind about it because of things I and others close to me have witnessed and experienced. Btw, I'm quite open to any of your own experiences, concerning the paranormal in the comment section, or if you'd like, through email or Fartbook... er.. I mean Facebook.
Supposedly, I'm supposed to get a nice pair of dowsing rods from the link I already provided, as a gift, from my sister, for my birthday, October 3rd. I'm not saying I completely believe in dowsing rods but they may be of some personal good to me. I'm not saying anything beyond that.
Take care, everyone!

Take care, everyone!
Just so you know up front, I am a Christian and there is a Heaven. That being said....
ReplyDeleteI put a picture of Jesus against the wall. The next time I saw it, it was turned back around. The evening after my mom's memorial service a musical stuffed pig belonging to my sister started to play in the middle of the night. Before I moved into my late husband's house-where I still live-there was a continueing thing regarding my late husband and his ex preparing a room for a little boy they hoped to adopt. There was much flinging of tools, etc. There was also a young lady from New England. One of the neices used to play with her when she came over. Those were things that occured before I lived here. After my husband's death, my daughter saw a cat flying around her room. I saw many shadows of cats walking around the house. As I climbed the stairs to the bedroom at night, I would often hear a whisperes,,,"get out" Hear this several nights in a row. Again after my husband died he "visited" twice. Once he placed a red carnation on the kitchentable right where I sit and once as I was watering out back, he wropped his arms around mine from behind. Oh. One other thing. I have long hair and as I slept one night, It kept tickling my arm. I kept brushing it away. Finally opened my eyes and saw a hand stroking my arm. Could see the arm too but it faded away beneath the elbow. And the attic. There seemed to be card games going on once in awhile. Like from the thirty's forties. Cigars. The mens voices. Let me say again. I am a Christian. There is a Heaven and Ihave no explaination for the above.
Forgive any errors. I am typing in the dark and my eyes are blurry.
I appreciate your honesty, middle child, regarding you saying you're a Christian and that there is a Heaven. I have spiritual beliefs, myself and believe that there is a Heaven, as well. Sounds like you have had an amazing and interesting, if somewhat exceptionally scary paranormal experiences. 'The flinging of the tools and the flying cats around the room would freak me out. That was nice, though, about your husband coming back to visit you and wrapping his arms around you to hug you. I wish my mom, that passed away 7 years ago, would come back and give me a hug. But on the flip side of something benevolent like that, your experiences concerning the voices that told you to "get out" would freak me out.
DeleteI believe what you say, middle child, about all of it. It's very odd that most people have to experience these same types of paranormal incidents before they will have an open mind and accept them. I know a lot of people who refuse to accept the paranormal only because they haven't experienced or they are convinced it can be explained away. No problem about the typing errors, btw, I make them all the time. Punctuation errors, too. I feel as long as we can understand each other, being overly critical and anal about grammatical errors is trivial and yet another sign of someone showing how arrogant they are. Thank you for your telling of your paranormal experiences. Take care.
I don't want to turn a genuinely cool moment into something weird in your head, but if your wife's deceased grandpa knew details about you...do you think he ever watched you masturbate? Not that he wanted to or anything, but as he's checking in or scrolling through the slide show of your life, or however it works in the spirit world, there's probably been a dick pic or two. That's why I only masturbate in a lead-lined bomb bunker, scientifically proven that spirits and Superman can't see in. (As per item #5, am I so predictable you already guessed I'd say that?)
ReplyDeleteAnd dude, the doll heads spinning around is going to freak me out for possibly decades to come.
Ah... always with the most important questions there, Pickleope. I thank you. Truthfully, I have no idea if her grandfather has ever watched me wank off. I used to wonder if any of my other deceased relatives caught me pumping my salami but then I thought, Eh, fuck it, I don't give a good shit and happily kept jerking away. If any of them wanna watch or wanna see the porn I occasionally check out on the net, more power to them. If they mention any of it when I get to Heaven (or hell), I'll tell them how I feel. I'll tell them how perverted it was of them to be watching me do any of it, in the first place and also, I'll ask, "Don't you souls have anything better to do than watch me choke my chicken and look at dirty pics, you sick fuckers?
DeleteI wouldn't bother slapping the bologna in a lead lined bomb bunker. As if they haven't pleasured themselves with ye olde wooden dildos or slippery fingers. Hah! Nope, I wouldn't have guessed that about #5, friend. Glad you're all freaked out about the spinning doll heads. You're probably jerking off just thinking about it, aren't you???
Well, you won't get any arguments from me. I've had experiences, although nothing like yours. I do believe, though.
ReplyDeleteAnd that black smoke/cloud? I had one here last winter, scared the crap out of me. Researched and asked around, those things are supposedly nasty. Very bad. Sure hope you don't get any of those any more where you're at now!
So I'm curious about #5, and also what you'll be using the dowsing rods for...You know you can find me on FB ;)
I'm glad to not be getting any arguments from you, Kim, about this. Quite frankly, any of the nay-sayers and debaters of whatever I say is getting a little irritating. It doesn't speak too well of their ability to accept or keep an open mind about what they don't know about, either. If they wanna go play "The Amazing" Randi or "Super Skeptic Extraordinaire", they can go f*ck off and do it elsewhere. I know what I know and as far as I'm concerned, they'll find out the truth soon enough when they're dead and go beyond this realm.
DeleteYeah, I have researched and have found out that the black/smoke cloud formation/entities are very negative energies and/or spirits. They are very very bad. They can be borderline demonic if they're bad enough, in fact. We had one in our old house where mom and dad lived and we found out quite a bit about him. That would be where #5 comes into play. I'll tell you about number five on a PM on
Facebook when I get the chance. I think I have to respond back (I never have enough damned time these days... I'm sorry) to another PM you sent me on there, anyway, awhile back... so I'll be killing two birds with one stone, so to speak. The next few days will be busy because my wife is off TWO WHOLE DAYS in a row. That, in itself, is an abnormal event. Usually we have to cram in as much things that have to be done as we can before she goes back to her 12 hour a day job.
Now the dowsing rods are going to be used for a variety of reasons. One, to communicate with the spirit of mom. Two, to locate water, for the heck of it. And three, well, any another reason I can think of.
Take care, Kim. It's always a relief when I can talk to someone who is open-minded and doesn't try to get into some (ego-boosting on their part) debate with me on thes supposedly controversial topics that really, to me, aren't controversial.
Hi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is.....COOL! I would have stopped naming cards too if I was getting them all. It would totally freak me out! I have to "close my mind" to paranormal invitations. My imagination and the paranormal can sometimes be a wee bit too much for me to process! Thanks for letting me know you published. This was a lot of fun to read. Hope you are well, Kelly. With any luck, I will be back in bloggy buddy world in the fall. I MISS YOU!
Hi The Snee/Rebecca... Wonderful, as always, to hear from you. I feel quite honored- since I know you're not doing the blogging thing much these days (At least, not as much that I know of, since I'm not, really, either). It seems real life, outside of here, has taken over every aspect of my complete life. I squeeze in a bit of relief on Fartbook, as you know, but that's about as much relief on the net as I get these days. Things will be peaceful for a short time here and then, suddenly, without warning, fall into complete disarray. In any case, I hope you're doing well.
DeleteYeah, the "naming each card by it's suit and number" incidents were kind of cool but sorta freaky, as well, especially later on when I though it wasn't "right". Don't ask me why I felt that way. I just did. As I said, that's why I stopped doing it.
Feel free to close your mind to paranormal invitations, if you're talking about a possible invitation to a ghost walking/hunting tour. 'Your imagination and the paranormal can sometimes be a wee bit too much to process?' LOL. Darn. I'm so sorry to hear that. :) You're welcome about letting you know that I finally published something new. I still remember the good ol' days when I would post something new almost a dozen times a month on PC.
Hopefully, you'll be back in the bloggy buddy world soon. With any luck, I'll have more time for it in the fall, too. I MISS YOU, TOO, REBECCA! Take care.
Hi Kezza. This post reminds of a cousin I have who lives in Lexington, Kentucky. Some of his friends told him they thought he was psychic but he was a sceptic.
ReplyDeleteNow he is a professional psychic with his own radio show!
Click here for Bazza’s Blog ‘To Discover Ice’
Why goodness gracious hello Bazza. I kind of remember a year or more ago about you telling me about your cousin in Lexington. I remember you also happened to ask how far he lived from Red River Gorge, since the post I was writing about, was of my adventures there down there.
DeleteUnlike your cousin, I've never had friends tell me they thought I was psychic. Mostly because I've never told them about the "images" and "card naming" incidents. I knew I'd get the crazy look, if I did. I've never thought of myself that way, either, to tell you the truth, in regards to being psychic.
I really can't tell from what you're saying here if you believe in any paranormal abilities or activities but it doesn't matter that much to me, anyway. I know what I know and it's good enough for me. I'm happy for your cousin that he has his own radio show, though, and I hope you and the rest of the family have had an exceptional summer, thus far.
Take care, Bazza
Sincerely, Kezza :)
Hey Kelly - You know I believe there is "another side."We'll have to get together sometime and have an intense discussion on the subject. I want to hear about #5 also. Maybe you've told me already, but I forget. Give me a call sometime, let me know how everything is going. Love - Auntie Kay
ReplyDeleteHi Auntie Kay, yes I very well know you believe there in another side or a Heaven or another dimension. People can call it, believe in it or mock it with any name they want and have- for centuries.
DeleteI will tell you about number #5 by a phone call. I need to call you, anyway with some odd news about a certain family member. You've probably heard about it, already, knowing Grandma. She's the original 90 year old Gossip Queen, whether the "information" she has is real or imagined.
I'm pretty sure I've told you about #5, already, but I'll tell you again for the heck of it. I know I didn't call it #5 or anything like that. That's for certain. LOL. anyway, too much has been going on, lately. And since I'd rather call you rather than give you a four foot long email, like my sister, you can expect a call within the next few days.
Much love right back to you,
Your nephew, Kelly
I actually didn't know that you were such a strong believer (and that you thought I was crazy for it), but you know I love it.
ReplyDeleteI got a dowsing crystal a few months ago with my tarot deck and have never used it. I became scared shitless when I looked into it and read that you need to create a barrier of white light to ward of malevolent spirits.
And also, something funny happened to me that week that I never quite went into detail on. I was so freaked ai think I wanted to ignore it. Time and time again I've watched paranormal specialist encounter demons, and heard it was a very bad sign, a curse even, if you were ever scratched by a demon and received what they refer to as "the marking of the trinity". Three random, but very distinct sharp nail scratches by somebody unseen.
Well, at the end of the craziest peak of my encounters, I was sitting in bed one night with my legs under the covers. All of a SUDDEN, I felt this incredible burning under my leg, lifted up the cover and there it was - 3 very distinct, long, red, perfectly aligned sharp, deep nail scratches up my leg. My ex and I couldn't fucking believe it. I was going to take a picture, but was so freaked I kinda wanted to ignore that it happened.
Between that and a few instances that have made me feel a bit in danger are the only things that have made me question whom I've been really dealing with.
I wrote you a novel and I'm sorry, but I took the opp to share something extremely crazy, but very real. Wish I had those pictures. I decided not to use the crystal after that too. It happened the night it arrived.
Hi Christina, I'm glad you've visited the blog. Long time- no see. :) Here's that long-awaited story I told you I was going to write about for a couple months and now, I finally got to it. Teal life has a way of sucking away your blog time, as you well know.
DeleteYeah, I am a strong believer. I was open minded and pretty much convinced it wasn't just other people's imagination or whatever, in the beginning, anyway. When everything started happening to me, personally, I was a complete believer in almost everything paranormal. There are some things, under the paranormal heading, I find questionable, of course, and are deserving of skepticism, but for the most part, I UNDERSTAND many things that fall into the category are real and not imagined.
Your experience with the dowsing crystal is interesting. Those, I don't know as much about. I would be interested in learning more, though. I didn't know about 'creating a barrier of white light' to ward off evil spirits part of it, Christina.
That would be frightening to be suddenly scratched by something unseen like that- 3 sharp, burning, deep nail scratches on your leg. That would freak me out, as well. I can very well understand why you wanted to ignore it. I often want to ignore or deny bad or frightening incidents, as well. Sometimes, though, you just have to come to terms with it, however, in order to go on and perhaps do something about it, in a positive, manner, if at all possible. Especially if it's demonic- then it's a whole different thing to contend with than just a simple poltergeist. harder to get rid of.
This is a weird little thing that happened with my sister's cat, when they lived in another house, decades ago. My sister found a perfectly clawed pentagram on their bedroom door, obviously (I hope) done at the bottom of their door. I'm sure, just as she was sure, it was just a coincidence, but it was odd. More funny, I guess than anything. Your experience, though, I know, was frightening. I'm not trying to mock your experience or anything like that. I wouldn't do that.
With your telling of the many incidents of your hauntings and other phenomena in the past, I know you've had a lot of experience with the paranormal. I can understand why you don't use the crystal, too. I know a few good things have happened and I know about the more negative things that have happened to you. Don't worry about writing me, what you call "a novel". No need for apology. I'm glad you would share these honest stories with me.
Take care, Christina. thanks for dropping by and see ya on Facebook. :)
Hi Kelly. Really enjoyed this... reminds me of some serious stuff I've experienced. I know I'm pretty much crazy, but there's really no need to write, verifying it. Let me say that the legends of Cherokee 'little people' is real. Also big black ape looking creatures with red glowing eyes? Real, and this one growled at me.
ReplyDeleteOh hey, loved the post link on Roller Coaster Rides!! Lost my grilled cheese but wouldn't have it any other way. Great videos. I prefer the wooden coasters too.
Best of luck with #5.
Hi Dixie, I hope you're well.
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the post. I haven't read anything, as far as I can remember, about the Cherokee 'little people'... unless you're talking about alien beings. In that case, I think I have but it's been awhile. I'll have to check into it. that freaks me out, what you said, about the big black ape looking creature, growling at you. I'm only guessing here but I suppose you're talking about a Sasquatch being. so many reputable people have reported seeing these beings and alien type beings that they are hard to discount.
I'm glad you loved the post on Roller Coaster rides. yeah, wooden coasters, for me (not that I can ride them any longer) give you that "out of control/more dangerous" feeling than steel coasters. granted, the steel coasters might be able to do things the wooden ones can't but they were always too smooth a ride for me... too safe. When I was younger, I was more into dangerous type things.
Thankfully, #5 is out of the picture and has been for decades.
I hope the rest of the summer is great for you, Dixie. Take care of yourself!
FRESH too. Not like I scratched my leg outside on the garden fence earlier. It happened to me under the cover. O_o
ReplyDeleteI believe you, LiliPixi. That would be ridiculously frightening to have happen to you. To have it under the cover of your bed is fucked up. Hopefully, it has gone away by now. Take care.
Deletei want to believe, call me mulder.
ReplyDeleteyears ago i was joking with a co worker and put a curse on our boss. that afternoon she tripped and broke her toe. the beauty is i had a witness.
then i put a curse on our director and he started having huge family problems and was relieved of his duties within 6 months.
my current boss called me into her office and gave me shit for fucking the dog. that afternoon i put a curse on her and 2 days later her husband left her. these are the only 3 curses i've ever put on at work.
i have a spooky looking gnarly old piece a tree that i have to be touching whilst making eye contact with the victim. i mounted a thermometer on the wood so the victim will think i'm checking the temperature.
no shit, this is all true.
Hi Mulder.. er.. Billy
DeleteYou sure do a lot of people cursing. I'll be sure to stay the hell away from your special gnarly cursing tree when I'm in town. Has thermometer jumped off your tree and ran away yet, in fear?
And yeah... I'm sure everything you said here was absolutely true. In fact, as I look outside my window, I'm watching a homeless guy on the street. He's jerking off a squirrel for amusement's sake and eat monkey cock for sustenance.
So far, he has been given three dollars in change, by passerby, for the quality entertainment he has provided to the people. That's all true, as well. Yep.
Hey Kelly,
ReplyDeleteHaving read all the accounts you note in this intriguing article, I have to say that I can very much relate to your beliefs and I've no doubt what you experienced was very real.
I had several eerie encounters when I was about three years old when I lived in an old house in Chelsea, London, England. I recall being raised up off my bed and just as I was about to reach the ceiling, I was gently lowered back down to my bed.
Another time in Vancouver, Canada, my entire family was sitting in the living room and suddenly my mother let out an almighty scream. To our absolute shock, on her thigh was the clear marking of some kind of rather small, strangely shaped hand. It created a bright red mark on my mother's thigh and faded after a few minutes. It never happened again.
Thanks for a thought provoking article, my friend.
Gary
Thank you, Gary
DeleteIt's great when people at least try to understand what you're going through and what experiences you're trying to convey.
You 'eerie' encounters involving being freaking raised up off your bed boggles the mind... but I believe you, man. I've had my name said in my ear, directly, at night in bed and have had the sheets and comforter pulled off of me. being raised off the bed is right up there with that plus more, I'd say. Jesus Christ in a picnic basket!
That marking on your mom's thigh sounds like it was made by an evil spirit or a very malicious poltergeist. I'm glad, for your mom's sake, it never happened again and that the red mark eventually went away. frightening! Usually, when something like that happens, I like to check the history of the place... see who died... or any other strange history the house or dwelling has had... like rituals of some sort.
Glad you liked the article. Like I was telling GEM and a few others, now that my wife is back to work, I now have four days to catch up on blogs- unless a family emergency pops up. Yours is in the top ten of my list, dude. Take care, Gary.
Wow Kelly!
ReplyDeleteI was absolutely riveted reading this. I didn't know this about you. How scary, freaky and yet incredible all at the same time. I can't imagine what I would do if I'd had those experiences in the haunted house, I would've been terrified. I haven't had a paranormal experience myself but I love to watch this kind of stuff on TV. Great post, thanks!
Take Care
GEM
Hey there, GEM,
DeleteYeah, there's quite a bit you don't know about me, despite everything I've written on this blog. A few people say I should write a book about my life. I don't know about that. some of it would be too depressing and I get caught up in reliving old feelings when I have to think about them and write about them.
You are lucky, in a way, that you haven't had any paranormal experiences, I would say... unless it is something like if a deceased loved one came back to try to comfort you in a time of need. Then that would be great, of course.
I watch paranormal Witness and recently, The Dead Files. I used to watch Ancient Aliens when I was able to get it on my Dish Network. I don't absolutely believe everything they show on TV but I don't automatically deny that it could have happened. Aliens, ghosts and physic abilities are all phenomena that I have an open mind about because so many have had experiences with these oddities, including myself. Except aliens. My friend, however, has told me how he had been abducted by alien beings when he was a kid. A very detailed story.
Thanks for the compliment. Take care, GEM. See you on your blog, probably tomorrow or the next day.
Wow Kelly, considering it's midnight here in Eastern Europe, it was very imprudent of me to read this post. Your interesting reflections and personal experiences kinda scared me but in a good...way. I have a huge interest in this fascinating topic. My boyfriend had a very weird and terrible experience of the kind...he suspects he encountered a demon about 25 years ago. I plan on telling this story on my blog soon. You are a great writer, you definitely know how to keep your readers glued to your posts :). Kisses Kelly.
ReplyDeleteI bet this was kind of a scary read, even if you only believe a little about spirits, during midnight. I'm glad you are interested in the subject. Maybe someday you will learn more, Unikorna.
DeleteThe experience your boyfriend had all those years ago freak me out, more intensely, than one's encounter with ghosts. When I was kid and saw the movie "The Exorcist"... (link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070047/)
I became really afraid of devils and demons. I look forward to your telling of the story about your boyfriend's experience with the demon. I'll definitely be checking that out. All areas of the occult interests me.
I thank you for the wonderful compliment and kisses at the end. Many blessings your way!
I love the paranormal and have dabbled with the EMF meters and the like. One of my oldest friends grew up in an old converted monastery...
ReplyDeleteSo you're a man interested in the paranormal, as well? You sound as if you are a believer, considering you've used EMF meters for ghost hunting. I wonder if you and/or your friend found any spirits in that old monastery you mention, briefly.
DeleteTake care, G
