Nifty Ideas

Below, you'll find some rather interesting products for you to purchase. Some are quite artistic in design while others fall into the humorous and/or absurd category. A few would prove quite handy and may leave you thinking, "Well, I wish I was brilliant enough to have thought of that."

If you find anything you can't live without, let me know and I'll put it on your Christmas wish list-and then promptly throw the list away. lol. Ain't I the cat's pajamas?

Speaking of nifty ideas, going out and about in nature is not only nifty but it can be very therapeutic for the spirit. After checking out the pics below, why not check out my pics over on my kinder, gentler blog, PicsForKicks, if you haven't already. You'll find a buttload of nifty, scenic photos that you'll likely enjoy.

  1. Those are priceless.

And if you like those, go to Perpetual Kid or Archie McPhee. More trinkets bordering on the absurd.

    Happy weekend, dude!

  3. I'm suprised that computer toilet isin't this years hot item given all the basement dewlling nerds who spend all their time playing World of Warcraft and don't want the inconvience of having to actually go to the bathroom.

Sorry, I wouldn't trade the rough and rowdy you for any other version! This blog is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to visit!

  5. Well Kelly, you've kept your challenge going for, what is it?, two days now. Well done.
These pictures remind me of when I used to read Mad Magazine many years ago. They had things like a spaghetti fork that had a small pair of scissors built-in for chopping off the pasta easily!

  7. Howdy Kelly,
Yes indeed, I have finally arrived at your posting and once again, the time it took to get here, was worth it.
Now then, I'm reckoning this 'Nifty Ideas' is an ongoing theme. I know you did a similar posting, before.
I especially like the photo of your computer and your ever so handy seat.
In fact, I'm now inspired to type away and shit myself :)
Have a peaceful weekend Kelly and y'all keep smiling :)
    Your buddy n' stuff, Gary.

  10. Lost.in.Idaho- Thanks, dude. I got some of those pics from forwarded emails. Every once in awhile, somebody sends ya something good. Have a dandy day!

  11. THE SNEE- Lol... Yeah, I have no doubt you would need that ladder for the snow I heard you guys got. Maybe a ladder at least 3 times that size, even. You have my real sympathies on your ongoing winter. It snowed here a couple days ago but we only got an inch. Take care, Rebecca. :)

  12. The Wolf- Hahaha. Too true about the nerds. That toilet reminds me of an episode of "1000 Ways To Die" where they had the true story about the dude who sat in a recliner for a week, playing an online video game and didn't move off his ass the entire time. He was using a catheter and piss bag and he had a bucket inside the seat of his chair. But what he didn't know- and what led to his death- was that if you stay in the position he was in for that long and finally get up after so long, you'll form blood clots in your legs. Then, when you get up, you'll have a freaking stroke. That's what happened to that guy.

  13. The Minute Man's Wife- I'm glad you like the 'rough and rowdy' version of myself. lol. That part of myself probably accounts for 70% of my personality, to be truthful. :) Glad you love to visit. Take care!

  14. bazza- Hahaha... Yep, 2 days and counting, thus far. Good thing I've already written down about 20 odd ideas for blog posts, in advance, in case of Writer's Block. what you said brings back fond memories for me about Mad Magazine. I had a subscription to that thing. It was funny as hell. Take care, my friend.

  16. OMG! The toilet at the computer desk? My idea is kinda the opposite-a reclining toilet for the bathroom!

  17. klahanie- Glad you arrived, dude. And thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I did do a similar posting awhile back. I think those products/ideas in that post were completely ridiculous. Some of these, in this post, are kinda cool or functional. Some, just stupid. I'd be tempted to get the toilet/computer combo set but I don't think it would SIT WELL with the Mrs. lol. That would be really swell if you would type and shit yourself at the same time. Talk about your 'multi-tasking'! Woo hoo! Have a great day, my friend and keep well.

  18. LilPixi- Hahaha... I have no doubts that you want them all. who wouldn't? But the shitter and the computer combo? What's not to like? lol. Imagine eating some Belgian waffles with blueberry syrup one morning by the computer while taking a nice, relaxing dump at the same time! j/k.

Have yourself a swell and dandy day and evening, LilPixi. Whichever comes first. Take care, my friend. :)

  19. lilPixi- Oh... And thank you for the "following Pics For Kicks site or you'll get a heinous disease" comment. Not only sweet of you but thoughtful, as well. lol. Seriously, it was very nice and I appreciate it. :)

  20. middle child- I like your reclining toilet in the bathroom idea. Now all you would need is, is to make it into a bidet and you'd be all set. Woo hoo! Take care, my friend.
